Relax in our spacious and comfortable rooms, all of which enjoy stunning views of mountains and moorland. Indulge yourself with delicious food, expertly prepared and freshly cooked to order using meat from our own livestock, vegetables from our garden and locally caught fish. Enjoy walks, bird watching or fishing using our private fishing rights. Wander our 60 acres and meet our delightful friendly animals. You won't be short of things to do in this beautiful, wild but accessible place. Rare birds abound including Black grouse and Hen harriers. You can visit many attractions and beaches nearby, spectacular castles, Betws-y-Coed, and Snowdonia National park. Enjoy walking and cycling the Hiraethog area, horse riding through stunning scenery, or adventure. Combine high standards of comfort with responsible tourism as at Hafod Elwy Hall we are proud to hold Green Dragon environmental certification and be green Snowdonia 2007 best sustainable tourism business and to have won 2007 Wales business and sustainability award. Our Country House farm is perfect for a short relaxing break, celebrating a special event or just relaxing.
Environmental Statement
All meat, fish, eggs and most vegetables served are produced on our own land. All meals are frshly prepared to order to avoid wastage. Preserves, soaps, some cereals and bread where possible are home produced. We heat the property with waste wood that previously went to landfill, all lighting is energy saving and we encourage guests to switch off as they leave rooms. Towels are fresh for each new guest then changed during your stay on request. Guests are asked to leave glass, newspapers and other items for recycling. We are happy to collect guests from the station to avoid fuel wastage and will store bicycles securely if required. We reduce waste, reuse where suitable and recycle. We believe in providing a high standard of guest comfort whilst practising the the best sustainable practices.
