For the visiter to Scarborough the proprietors John and Elza have gathered a wealth of information to ensure a holiday is enjoyed to the full. I looked into - with Elzas permission, many of the rooms and each is furnished with care and taste Book now for 2010 I have. Read less

The Ellenby is a family run 4-star rated sea front guest house with panoramic sea views overlooking the magnificent North Bay of Scarborough. Whilst rated under the ETC Guest Accommodation scheme and awarded 4 stars for comfort and quality, our guest house offers many of the services of a hotel but also manages to retain the individual personal touch, in order to make your holiday in Scarborough more enjoyable.
The accommodation offers a high standard of cleanliness, comfort, home cooked food and a warm and friendly welcome. All our rooms are en-suite, many of which offer magnificent views of the east coast and the Castle Headland. We also have premier rooms which offer that little bit more luxury.
The Ellenby's excellent central location make it an ideal base from which to explore Scarborough. The sandy beach and coastline are close by as are Scarborough's other main attractions. These include Peasholme Park, Scarborough Cricket Ground and the Theatre. The town centre with its many shops, restaurants and pubs/bars is also not too far away.
The Ellenby guarantees a warm friendly welcome and prides itself on the hospitality it provides.
