The Four Poster is a historic 17th century bed & breakfast and Holiday Cottage situated in the heart of Llangollen. It is close to the historic bridge spanning the River Dee, the steam train and the Llangollen canal. It is ideally located for visiting the many attractive shops and the excellent restaurants and bars of this picturesque Welsh town. Snowdonia and Chester are within a short car journey away. We are open March until late December annually.

This B&B has loads of charm and is extremely comfortable. It is located within an easy walk to the shopping area of Llangollen, which includes some very good restaurants.
Dislikes:
If the B&B car park is busy then there's no room to turn around and drive forward. Reversing out of the car park into the road is not especially easy.

As regards parking,we offer it and can house safe parking for all our guests, if everyone parks sympathetically and as we advise, some do not, making it difficult for some of our guests driving hire cars and unfamiliar with the car park to move. I must point out that it is not mandatory that guests use the car park.

It is also very convenient for walkers, cyclists, canoeists and angler exploring the spectacular local countryside, or as a centre for those venturing further afield to Snowdonia, the North Wales coast or the nearby towns of Wrexham, Chester, Oswestry and Shrewsbury.
Converted from a row of 17th century weavers' cottages, the Guest House has retained many of the original features, including low ceilings with exposed beams, and has great charm and character. It provides comfortable accommodation with a warm friendly welcome.Limited car parking is available.
Centrally heated and double glazed throughout, all rooms are en-suite and are furnished to a high standard. They are fully equipped with freeview colour LCD TV, hair dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. One room has a four-poster bed and there is a quad bedded annex consisting of two twin bedded room.Children welcome but must be aged10 years or over .
Small dogs welcome at request in annex room.
Enjoy a welsh cooked breakfast meat based or vegetarian!
Swn-y-Cored is the holiday cottage next to The Four Poster Guest House. It consists of a sitting room (with freeview colour TV and DVD Player), a separate dining room, kitchen (equipped with CD player, larder fridge/ freezer, electric cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher) and bathroom/toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom, and a second bedroom with twin beds.
With sleeping accommodation for 4 the cottage is heated by gas central heating and is double glazed throughout. There is a small, private courtyard to the rear and off-road car parking is available. Children over 10yrs welcome. Pets welcome.
