Dislikes:
parking a bit tricky but owners always work out a suitable solution

The hotel was very clean and very well decorated and the afore-mentioned breakfast was excellent. It is also very close to the town centre being only a few minutes walk.
Dislikes:
If I had to be critical, the room I had was a little small and the car parking could be a problem if the hotel was full and everyone had a car because there is only room for 3 cars. So arrive early!

We are sory that you found it necessary to be critical of your stay with us. We would point out that we feel your negative critisisms regarding car parking are not entirely accurate. We can park a maximum of four cars, not three as you state, and, as we say to all guests if you have any problems with parking we will provide parking for you at our own cost so that you do not have to pay. Parking is Not, repeat Not on a first come first stay basis!!

At Brantfell, all our rooms and suites have flat screen LCD TV and DVD players, and designer en-suite shower rooms, with double- width showers.
The suites have super-king-size beds, which can be converted into two singles when a twin room is needed. Each suite has a comfortable leather sofa where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views towards Loughrigg Fell and Fairfield Horseshoe.
We also have larger than average single rooms with double beds and lovely views towards Wansfell Pike.
Breakfasts, served in the dining room, and cooked to order, are made from the finest local produce, catering for both traditional and vegetarian tastes. Brantfell is also licensed to sell alcohol.
Included in your stay is free access to wireless internet, parking, and, for special occasions we can have champagne, flowers, chocolates etc. placed in your room for your arrival. All you have to do is let us know what you would like in advance.
There is also a guest lounge with a real log fire where you can relax with a glass of your favourite tipple from the “honesty bar”.
