Visit Britain 4 Stars Bed & Breakfast

Colossus is a friendly Scillonian family run B&B offering high quality accommodation. It has been awarded a 4 star rating from Visit Britain. The home and garden overlook the lower moors and are situated in a residential cul-de-sac. Only a 7 minute pleasant walk with splendid views brings you to Hugh Town, where you will find shops, restaurants, public houses and three beaches. A further 2 minutes brings you to the harbour - where you can hop on the daily boats to take you to the off-islands. Five minutes walk in the opposite direction will bring you to the picturesque village of Old Town, with cafes and art and craft studios.

Colossus aims to provide a comfortable and unforgettable stay in a relaxed friendly atmosphere where guests are welcome to come and go as they please. A warm welcome awaits you at Colossus Bed and Breakfast, where we take pleasure in offering quality accommodation, excellent food and value for money.

Spring Over to Scilly and take advantage of FREE BOAT TRIPS to the off-islands - limited to one off-island boat ticket per room on Association boats for direct trips only.

A symbol of this commitment is our membership of the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Some of the measurers we have taken include Use of low energy light bulbs; recycling compostable waste, glass, tins; fresh milk available from a communal fridge; use of email; use of thermostatic radiator valves; re-use of all plastic bags; double glazing; air dried linen (when possible) etc Here at Colossus, we try to strike a balance between ensuring you have an enjoyable stay, and the environmental footprint we all leave behind.
