"Moved to respond"
I stopped one night during a business visit to the Newcastle area. I pick rural small hotels/pubs, I just prefer the ambience large hotels can't offer. The Plough is well located and easy to find with plenty of parking space.I arrived with time to check my emails (easy to set up and free internet access) and then a couple of beers, dinner, tele and bed. Up, breakfast and away again. Lovelly atmospheric place. The whole experience was a pleasure, the hotel team deserve every success Read less
Likes:
The Plough Inn ticks every box. Friendly staff, nice size clean room. Good beer, non-complicated excellent dinner, generous, well cooked and presented. Cooked breakfast set me up for the day.
Dislikes:
One minor glitch not worth detailing. Nothing in life's perfect.
