I stayed for 4 nights at this B&B and wish I could have stayed longer! The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about nearby attractions and even bus times. The room I stayed in was large and very nice--it included a hair dryer, hot water bottle, and many other little things that made my stay extra comfortable. My room was always a nice temperature, but they even included an extra portable radiator in my room just in case. Overall, great B&B! Read less

Gwyndra is a spacious, family home built in the early 1930’s, formally used as a Residential Rest Home, in the heart of St Austell. Set in a large secluded garden, only a couple of hundred yards away from the coach and rail station and so is most convenient for visitors using public transport.
St Austell is the main market town for the Cornish Riviera and there is easy access to the Eden Project, Charlestown, Fowey, Mevagissey and the many local attractions such as Heligan Gardens. There is a regular bus service direct to Heligan and the Eden Project available from the rail station. The accommodation at Gwyndra is very spacious and all rooms are well equipped. Gwyndra has ample car parking on site and is on the Cornish Way - part of the national cycle network.
