The welcome by John was exceptionally friendly and this friendliness continued throughout our stay. John is certainly a great host. The room (double ensuite) was perfectly clean and spacious.
Dislikes:
Perhaps our only complaint might be that the walls in the rooms were very thin so any talking from the next room was clearly heard, but this is a minor point.

After being on the road for the whole day, the B&B in Moorshead Farm was as out-of-the-way as possible in order to assure a quaint & quiet stay to recharge our batteries. After a very warm & friendly welcome by Max, the Dog and John the Host we checked into our twin room, complete with very uneven floorboards - as is to be expected in such an old building. Just added to the charm. Read less

The very friendly and charming welcome, without any "business mindset". Just being "let in" as friends for one night. The hearty breakfast served in the rustic lounge. The conversations with our hosts
Dislikes:
Sadly we didn't get to spend much time with our congenial hosts as we arrived late, went out for dinner and dead.dropped into bed. Apart from that no complaints!

John and Sian welcome you to their 15th century family home. We have 3 B&B rooms and four holiday cottages . The local pub is less than 1/2 a mile away and we are only 3 miles from the charming market town of Cowbridge.
The two double rooms one with a king size bed and the twin room have rural views, digital television with DVD player free Wi Fi and tea and coffee making facilities.
A short walk takes you to the village of Sigingstone and the Victoria pub, one of many good places to eat in the area.
The nearby heritage coast offers good walking and the lanes around Moorshead are peaceful and charming.
Cowbridge is only 3 miles away and has a wealth of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants.
Half an hour's drive and you can be in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales.
