The food is fabulous - but that's what we were looking for - a Restaurant with Rooms. It was obviously a treat for locals too.
Dislikes:
Slightly frosty reception because we accidentally wandered into a staff area.
Response from Chapel House:
Thank you for your kind remarks which we have passed on to our staff. We look forward to giving you a warm welcome on your next visit.

The food was seriously first class and really impressed. The wine list was superb and the staff from the host, waitress to the cleaner an absolute joy. The room took us back in time as we are used to modern living but it was totally appropriate and appreciated. Top class stay and highly recommended. Read less
