Very warm welcome by owners. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Our room was fabulous. My only negatives were a lack of a decent shower, the bath took forever to fill up! A mini bar would have been nice in the room too and a tv with a decent picture and with more than the four channels, not that we spent much time in the room. The Breakfast selection was superb and cooked fresh to order and was delicious! Would definitely consider staying again as overall our stay was quite superb! Many Thanks! Read less

The location with sea views was graet and as I've mention already everywhere was so clean and the breakfasts were just great!
Dislikes:
Lack of a decent shower and a tv with freeview channels.

A small Victorian town house, offering boutique style guest accommodation set over three floors. ‘The Windsor Carlton’ has resently been refurbished and offers five quality en-suite rooms, individually decorated in classic or modern styles with quality bed linens.
All rooms have flat screen TVs most with DVD's. Hair dryers, clock radios, complimentary toiletries and hospitality trays. All rooms have either views of St. Boniface Downs or stunning sea views of the Channel. The breakfast room is south facing located on the ground floor, decorated in a modern fresh style highlighting the original Victorian marble fire surround and ornate plaster cornicing and ceiling rose. Breakfast is included, cooked to order from our extensive, award winning menu. The guest drawing room faces the Downs, a comfortable place to read or just sit and relax.
‘The Windsor Carlton’ offers guest accommodation of a high standard, in a beautiful sea-facing location. It is within a two minute walk of Ventnor village centre with convenient road and bus links to any part of the island. The Isle of Wight offers miles of walking and cycling tracks through areas of outstanding natural beauty. We are the perfect place to start your island adventure or to just relax and chill out.
We offer picnic hampers to order filled with delicious home made and local ingredients when available. Ideal to pick up and place in the car or suitable for walking or cycling days out.
‘The Windsor Carlton’ offers accommodation to adults 18 years or over. The lead customer, the person making the booking, must be 21 years or over. Please note that there are no lift facilities.
