Our room with the view of St. Michael's Mount and the bay; the convenient location; and accessibility to good restaurants and stores. The website completely reveals what you are getting into.
Dislikes:
Traffic noise for our 'water view' room was a factor that earplugs solved. You need to read about what parking the car will entail, though it was completely manageable during our October stay there.

Norman and Diane welcome you to The Corner House in Penzance. Built in 1848, this beautiful Art Deco property still retains its original character and charm. Situated on the promenade with stunning uninterrupted sea views it offers comfortable en suite accommodation. Centrally located and close to the harbour, bus and rail links it is an ideal base for exploring the South West Peninsular including St Michael's Mount, Lands End, St Ives, Minack Theatre and the Isles of Scilly. You will find plenty of things to do in Penzance.
Recently refurbished, a range of rooms are available, with some enjoying spectacular views of Mounts Bay. Our honeymoon suite in particular offers the beautiful view complete with four poster bed.
All rooms have central heating and are equipped with digital flat screen television complete with dvd players, toiletries and hospitality trays. We also offer free WI-FI.
Enjoy our delicious freshly cooked breakfast using locally sourced products where possible, which is included in the room rate. We can cater for special dietary requirements if given prior notice.
Whilst we have some parking available, we are also surrounded by unrestricted parking.
We regret that we cannot accept children under the age of 12 years in the Guest House unless by prior arrangement.
