The hotel was clean and the reservation was effortless, however we did have a few niggles! the wi fi didn't always work and the showers were very temperamental, really should have thermostatic controls as we were nearly scalded when someone else used their shower.As this was Feb the heating was more than adequate, just a shame someone turned our radiator off while we were out for the day.Staff were friendly but we did think breakfast only from 8-9 was a bit short. Had no problem letting our 1 yr old crawl around in the room as it was spotless and carpet and linens all appeared new.Breakfast was great really set us up for a good start. We let them know we would need parking about an hour b4 our arrival & they resrvd a space for us no prblm Read less

Very family friendly atmosphere, place was very clean, could not have asked for better food. Grocery store, pub, local fish and chips place all nearby. Complementary wine,water,and biscuits!
Dislikes:
Hotel front and dining area a bit dated,or could use a refurbishment but this was not a problem really as this was not the case with the room itself, nor did it have an effect on the excellent food!

Everything, as we love this part of Cornwall.
Dislikes:
Nothing, but it was very cold when we went there and the conservatory did not have adequate heating. You needed your coat on while you were eating your dinner.

Situated in the centre of St Just, the Commercial makes in ideal base for those wishing to explore the coastal paths, beaches and ancient sites of the Land's End area. Being close to both air and sea links to the Isles of Scilly , the hotel is the obvious choice as a stopover for travellers to the islands. We are members of VisitBritain's Walkers and Cyclists Welcome schemes and are able to offer advice on the best coastal walks and cycle routes. We are also a pet friendly inn with designated rooms for people with pets. Our guest accommodation has a rating of 4 stars so you can be assured of a comfortable stay in tasteful surroundings.
There is wifi broadband connection throughout the hotel. In addition, we have an up to date DVD library available to guests .We offer extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menus which make use of our wonderful local produce wherever possible. Our beautiful, conservatory dining room leads out on to our beautifully planted patio and garden areas which enjoy sunshine throughout the day (weather permitting).
