would have liked a shower suitable to get into, rather than one over the bath in the ground floor room.

Likes:
Very clean facilities, food excellent and cooked FRESH. The emphasis, of the proprietor, was guest orientated. The room was comfortable, and I slept exceptionally well.
Dislikes:
This is an excellent facility and there is nothing negative about this accomodation and the facilities.

Clairmont Guest House offers bed and breakfast in a Victorian semi-detached property located in the small town of Wellington on the outskirts of Telford, Shropshire. We are an ideal B&B for both business and leisure visitors.
The beautiful Shropshire countryside and a wide range of visitor attractions are all within easy reach. We offer bed and breakast in our beautifully furnished bedrooms, all en-suite with colour TV freeview and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms are double en-suite, some with shower and some with both bath and shower. A selection of complimentary toiletries are provided. Ground floor accommodation is available.
Wellington has a varierty of pubs and good local amenities just a short stroll away. A selection of excellent eateries are within walking distance These include Indian,Chinese,Thai and Italian. We are fortunate to be within walking distance of a 5 star restaurant.
The famous Wrekin Hill is on our doorstep and is well worth the climb to enjoy its breathtaking views from the top. Wellington has an excellent public leisure center with its recently refurbished 30 station gymnasium and 25x13metre pool. It also houses a sauna,steam room and spa pool. If you wish to be pampered the beauty room offers a range of body treatments and massages. All within walking distance of Clairmont.
A short drive will take you to the many picturesque Shropshire towns and villages. Shrewsbury ,Much Wenlock and Bridgenorth to name but three are within a 15/20 minute drive.
If you wish to visit Birmingham and its famous Bull Ring shopping center,there are regular trains from Wellington station which is within walking distance. The new train service from Wrexham to London stops at Wellington station and there are some great fares available.
For those travelling by train we are within walking distance of Wellington railway station. There is also easy access to the motorway, with Junction 7 of the M54 just 1 mile away.
