The Crab is near Newbury in the beautiful Berkshire countryside with rolling fields all around. The restaurant is justifiably famous for its seafood with a menu that is so tempting you have to read it several times before making your choice. It has rooms a few steps from the restaurant, some with hot tubs! Some are upstairs. Check-in and out was easy and uncomplicated. Waiter service was knowledgeable friendly and unhurried - We had a really romantic Valentine's night away. Read less

The dinner was EXCELLENT. The decor of the room (Raffles) was atmospheric with an excellent expresso coffee machine! There is a DVD player so take your favourite DVDs with you
