It was relaxing & very friendly & helpful. Excellent breakfasts, plenty of choice. Local pub is very friendly & great food.
Dislikes:
The bedroom was a bit cool but it was very cold outside. However the guest lounge was warm & comfortable.

Situated in the historic area of the Hadrian's Wall corridor and 1½ miles out of the village of Newbrough, Carr Edge is set in an idyllic location. This traditional farmhouse is overlooking the South Tyne Valley, commanding spectacular views of the North Pennines and surrounding National Park areas.
All 3 guest bedrooms are en-suite and centrally heated, boasting south facing breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the garden area. The rooms are traditionally furnished and all have Tea and Coffee facilities, Colour televisions, hair dryers and electric blankets.
