"Excellent accommodation"
This is the best B&B accommodation that I've stayed in. The couple that ran the B&B were lovely, they really looked after us. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the room was faultless, really lovely. In the evening the lounge had a real fire and port and chocolates were put out for us. All in it was an excellent stay all round Read less

Response from Carra Beag Guesthouse:
These Guests were delighful and we look forward to welcoming them back to Carra Beag soon.
It is a shame these minor problems were not mentioned to us during their stay. They would ( and indeed have ) been sorted in just 10 minutes.

In 1875 Carra Beag was built as a family house. Over the years many local notables have resided at the house including a Town Provost and local artist David Fergusson. These days Carra Beag still is a family home where Helen and Brian welcome guests and travellers. At Carra Beag we pride ourselves in offering guests excellent value, clean & comfortable rooms, first rate service in a completely non-smoking environment.

Carra Beag is centrally located and enjoy a commanding position just above the main street of the town, far enough away however not to suffer from any annoying transport noise. Guests can relax in the sun on one of our south facing terraces, admire the uninterrupted panoramic views or stroll through our garden directly onto the towns main street. During the colder days and nights you can cosy up by the coal fire reading, meeting up with friends or exchanging your days activities with other guests.

We have a safe secure private car park for motorists, and can arrange pick ups for those travelling by public transport.

We offer self catering in the form of the delightful ivy Cottage. Ivy cottage is located in the heart of the popular picturesque town of Pitlochry, ideally suited for touring Perthshire and the Highlands. In fact all of Scotland's main centres, including Edinburgh, St Andrews, Perth and Inverness are within easy reach.Ivy Cottage was originally built as lodgings for the retainer to the family resident at Carra Beag, the adjoining Victorian Villa and Guest House.
Environmental Statement
We recycle paper, glass and cardboard. Please store these items aside or they can be deposited at the bottom of the garden in council specified containers.
