The Cairn hotel is a great place to stay with excellent atmosphere, food and friendly service. The new owners and staff throughout the hotel are so friendly and caring and made our stay a memorable one. The bedroom was so comfortable and cosy and we slept brilliantly. Breakfast was served by smiling staff who couldn't do enough to make sure we had what we wanted. Full Scottish breakfast made with quality ingredients. Fantastic! Read less

Homemade food served in the friendly bar was delicious. Choices varied, something for everyone's taste. Delicious venison stew followed by sticky pudding. Perfect!

Located in the centre of the highlands within the Cairngorm National Park, 7 miles from Aviemore, 23 miles from Inverness, just of the A9 on the alternative Perth-Inverness tourist route, we are a perfect touring base for the Cairngorms, Loch Ness, Malt Whisky Trail, the Moray Coast beaches and dolphins and Monarch of the Glen country.
Enjoy the country pub atmosphere in our traditional bar with real log fire, our non-smoking sun-lounge, or outside on a fine day. Bar lunches and suppers are served from 12 noon to 2.15pm and 6pm to 8.15pm. Soup and toasties served all day. Range of beverages including espresso, Americano, latte, cappuccino, hot chocolate and various teas.
