The staff! The se guys couldn't do enough for us, they were brill. There is not a lot of staff but one ring of the bell at the bar and we waited no more than 10 seconds for someone to appear smiling.
Dislikes:
Cooked breakfast on second day was not great, but there was plenty of cereal and toast availible.

Slightly underwhelmed on arrival - Hotel was a little more shabby and out of date than the website suggested!

Relax in comfort in our elegant bedrooms, spacious lounges and extensive gardens. Enjoy a convivial lunch or candlelit dinner by the fire, prepared by our award winning chef and his expert team. Enjoy marvellous relaxing and reviving space, be yourselves, and escape.
The hotel is only around 20 minutes from both Glasgow and Prestwick airport, yet seems a world away - in beautiful rolling countryside with stunning pastoral panoramic views.

We are situated in the very heart of North Ayrshire, yet close enough to the Renfrewshire border – and within easy reach of over 40 top links golf courses, including the championship links at Royal Troon, and numerous top quality visitor attractions, with the whole of Burns Country within a gentle drive. Making us an ideal location for all types of short breaks. And Burnhouse Manor Hotel, being so close as it is to both Prestwick and Glasgow airports, makes us an ideal first or last night stay (or for that little bit longer) at the beginning or end of a fulfilling, relaxing tour of Scotland.
