The Bridge End has nice rooms, ours was quite small with twin beds and bathroom but was nicely decorated and cosy. Unfortunately our room was across from the local pub which was holding a party until midnight and was incredibly noisy. We contacted the owner as our TV didn't work and there was no kettle, etc, he brought them to the room and fixed the TV for us. To drown out the shouting outside the pub & music inside (you can actually see the band upstairs through the window) we left TV on loud! Read less

Our stay was perfect. We were overbooked for bed and breakfast and were offered accommodation in one of the luxury self catering cottages which was wonderful. Staff were very helpful and friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the George Hotel across the road. It was so relaxing to stay in the cottage which was well looked after, spotlessly clean, very comfortable -immaculate. Will be booking again on our next visit to Manchester/Peak District. Read less

Welcome to The Bridge End. The Bridge End B&B and luxury cottages are based in the picturesque village of Hayfield in the Peak District; in the heart of mountains, moors and beautiful scenery yet less than 40 minutes from Manchester City Centre, Manchester Airport, Stockport; and Cheshire towns such as Alderley Edge and Wilmslow. Our bedrooms and morning cuisine are a blend of traditional rural charm combined with a cosmopolitan twist.
Our self-catering cottages are the last word in rural luxury, and have excellent facilities for mountain bikers. The Bridge End B & B is accommodation in the Peak District of the highest quality, offering four delightfully appointed contemporary bedrooms. All feature excellent bathrooms, LCD TV, iPod players, hairdryers, and most importantly very comfortable beds!
Come morning we offer a selection of bacon or sausage rolls, cereal or yoghurt. During weekends our breakfasts are served in the neighbouring George Hotel – where one may enjoy a full English.
The Bridge End is a mile from the foot of Kinder Scout, a ten minute drive to Marple Station (which connects directly to Manchester Piccadilly) and crucially in the heart of the village of Hayfield. Within 30 metres of The Bridge End you will find an outstanding selection of pubs, restaurants and shops.
