Offering luxury en suite accommodation. We pride ourselves on our home cooking and baking, using ingredients from some of the best Lakeland food producers. Our guests are welcomed with a smile and offered a hot or cold drink and a selection of homemade cakes, made using Lake District recipes, handed down through many generations of our family. Our extensive breakfasts, cream tea, high tea and packed lunch menus are prepared and cooked to order. We offer a full English breakfast with a range of original elegant alternatives. We also offer special options for vegetarians, vegans, lactose & gluten intolerance.

The Guesthouse is easily located from Junction 40 if travelling North or Junction 41 if travelling south on the M6 Motorway and the trans-pennine A66 link road. Travelling by rail, you will find us just 10/15 minutes walk from the station, on the main Virgin West Coast line, or 5 minutes in a taxi.
