We would have cruised straight by this excellent place if not for googling "A69 hotels" before we set off from Scotland. Tucked away in the valley north of the main road, The Boatside is warm and welcoming, comfortably combining the traditional with the 21st century. Read less

Great setting, pleasant room, good food, fine malts.
Dislikes:
Mopping up the bathroom after the appropriately strong, but low-set and inadequately-screened shower burst into life!

Experience the traditional welcoming atmosphere of The Boatside Inn,a welcoming and attractive country pub nestling between the river South Tyne and the wooded slopes of Warden Hill in Northumberland. All our rooms are ensuite and well equipped.

We offer good food that will satisfy all tastes; from homemade soup, traditional steak n’ale pie and fresh seafood to more exotic fare from the Continent, Far East or India. There is also a tempting selection of tasty desserts. Ideal location for hiking, biking, fishing and golf.

The inn is very easy to find, just off the A69 trunk road. Plenty of parking for guests and free wifi in the restaurant. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Check-In time: 12:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00.
