My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Blenheim Lodge. Originally, we were supposed to stay a few days but decided to prolong our stay, as it was so nice. Both Janz and Robert were very friendly and accomodating. There was also a large selection of breakfast choices available, all delicious and freshly prepared. The view of Lake Windermere, from our room was spectacular. We found Bowness's central location made visiting the other lakes easily accessible. Read less

Blenheim Lodge is the first guest house in Bowness as you come off the Dalesway Walk, just a minute’s stroll from our front door, & we are only 5 minutes’ walk to Bowness town & Lake Windermre. We are walker, golfer, biker, cyclist, and fisherman friendly, with 2 free fishing permits on a first come first served basis. Be conscious of wasteful use of scarce resources like electricity and gas. All guest house rubbish is sorted out into plastics, paper, food waste, and glass and disposed accordingly. We use locally sourced handmade produce and essential trades so as to support local trades and also to reduce carbon waste in terms of travel.
