We booked and paid for our room quite some time prior to 31st. Dec. in order to attend family party in the belief that it was Bed and Breakfast (as advertised). Our daughter and family were to book later in Dec. only to be told that no breakfast would be available, therefore they did not book rooms. Are we entitled to a refund ??? The manager did not mention a refund although we did point this out to him. Read less

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food. Beds a little on the soft side for me personally but despite our proximity to the restaurant itself, couldn't hear a thing and slept like a log.
Dislikes:
I wouldn't say it was a problem for me but the entrance to the (limited) car parking was between buildings and very narrow - could be a problem for the feint hearted.

We are convenient for town and we are the closest B&B to Broadlands, the stately home of Lord and Lady Romsey where there is a full calender of events and concerts throughout the year.
Berties is convenient for Southampton which is just 10 miles away and we are on the edge of the New Forest. We are just 20 minutes drive from Beaulieu which also hosts many events at the National Motor Museum. We have a small private car-park for guests and can offer a mix of rooms to include twins, doubles and a coach-house which sleeps five.
Nestled in some of England’s most beautiful countryside is the exquisite market town of Romsey. Romsey is “The jewel in the crown of Hampshire!” Romsey has everything you could want for a day out or a longer stay. Explore its main tourist attractions of Romsey Abbey, King John’s House and the Town Hall,
