Relaxing by the wood fire with a book after a satisfying meal.
Dislikes:
No complaints. If I must criticise something, the shower was on the weak side.

We have six comfortable rooms which have recently been refurbished to a high standard.Given that seasonality and the sourcing of good local produce is the current trend, chef /owner, Fabrice Bouteloup at Barley Bree changes the menus every week in order to reflect the changing seasons. We use as many local suppliers as possible taking advantage of all Perthshire has to offer – wild garlic and chanterelles in season, delicious soft fruits through the summer, root vegetables, beef, lamb, freshwater fish….the list goes on.
The shooting season also brings an abundance of game: venison, pheasant, wood pigeon and partridge all feature on our menus at various times of the year. Although our sample menus do not include vegetarian dishes, we can and do provide vegetarian meals.
Please note restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays though an evening meal may be provided by prior arrangement
