Cleanliness, friendliness and quietness!!
Dislikes:
Only very slight downside is that the room was not en-suite, but the private bathroom was literally only a couple of yards from the bedroom door and I was aware this was the case when booking.

The B&B has a modern decor with accommodation to make your stay memorable and relaxing whether on business or just visiting for pleasure. Owned and run by Evelyn and her family a warm Scottish welcome and ambiance awaits you.

Ayrshire is in Robert Burns country and has many attractions and event programmes throughout the year locally. Ranging from Golf and The Scottish Grand National meeting in April and the Scottish Gold Cup in September plus a full calender of horse racing locally to the B&B at Ayr Racecourse.

The B&B accommodation is ideally located for golf and golfers.South Ayrshire has over 30 golf courses as well as the famous championship golf courses of Troon and Turnberry there are many gems to still discover.With links and parkland golf courses close by the golfer is spoilt for choice. Bring those golf handicap cards with you as for some golf courses they are a requirement. For the high handicapper and newcomer there are also golf courses for you to experience during your stay at the bed and breakfast.

So to get your golfing days off to a good start a Full Scottish breakfast at the B&B will set you up for the day.The nearest golf courses to the bed and breakfast are Belleisle and Seafield which are only an few minutes drive away.Course booking and tee times can be arranged. If your attending a wedding locally most venues are within a short distance including the Brig O'Doon House Hotel.

If golf is not for you then Ayrshire offers the tourist many locations to explore and see.The Bed and Breakfast Ayr is a great base to explore Ayrshire and beyond. With the Bard of Scotland poet Robert Burns birthplace cottage and museum just a few miles away from the B&B in Alloway together with Auld Brig O'Doon and the Tam O'Shanter experience. Culzean Castle stands majestically looking out over the Firth Of Clyde and is well worth a visit plus many more attractions in the area. If retail therapy is your thing Glasgow is approximately 1 hr.
