Frequently needing to visit Southampton for short business trips, I haven't had much luck finding a place to stay until I stumbled upon the Avenue B&B. The rooms were cheerfully decorated, the bed and pillows were nice and firm, the breakfast was cooked to order with good ingredients, and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I consider the reasonable rates in addition, this is definitely a place I will be coming back to in the future. Read less

This lovely Victorian house is situated on a tree lined avenue a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Southampton. We are within easy reach of a wide range of restaurants and bars and are close to the Mayflower theatre, art gallery, law courts, university and hospitals. Just a 10 minute drive from the M27, M3 and Southampton International Airport, and a few minutes from the train, coach and ferry terminals, the house is in an ideal location. View Route Map.
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and each has colour television, alarm clock, radio, and a complimentary hospitality tray. We also offer wireless internet access. A full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Our philosophy is that nothing is too much trouble.
