Warm room and lovely hot water.
Excellent food.
Good music on Friday night.
Dislikes:
Nothing only it would have been nice to know beforehand that you could not check in between 4.00 and 6.00. We tried to do this and had to then go off for an hour and a half.

The food, beer and breakfast. The rooms were simple but of good quality. A great way to get away from it all. Very friendly.

Just on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty, the Angel Inn at Wangford is the perfect base for a holiday in Southwold. A short drive from the town, this warm and welcoming Bed and Breakfast has seven en-suite rooms available. These include single, double and family rooms, a ground floor room with easy access and a pet friendly room.
In addition to these, the stunning Southwold Suite is the perfect place to stay for special occasions, with a four poster bed and beautiful view, the Thorpeness Suite has recently been redecorated and is a very large room with shower en-suite. This room can be used as a family room with double and two single beds available.
Owners Steve and Diane have obviously put a lot of care and thought into the bed & breakfast. The rooms all have Egyptian cotton bed linen and are charmingly decorated and the 16th Century building is full of character.
The Angel Inn also has a pub and restaurant with a beer garden. The menu is thoughtfully put together with traditional pub food. As a guest at the bed and breakfast you can enjoy a delicious Full English or the lighter option of cereals and fruit compote.
The bar downstairs is welcoming and has a lovely atmosphere. Bed & breakfast guests are welcome to join in the quiz nights and enjoy live music evenings, as well as delicious pub meals.
