Stayed one night at the Albany to visit the G-Live theatre. Basic rooms, a bit shabby and "tired" but very clean and comfottable. Really good location for visiting the theatre: a two minute walk. The pub below was excellent. REALLY friendly and helpful bar staff, good food, good beer and wine. I cannot praise the bar staff enough. Excellent service. Note that no breakfast is included in the price which makes it a bit expensive for the basic facilities. Read less

I was first given a room that looked like it was not quite complete - the main window did not have a latch to close it so it was FREEZING (literally) in the room. The Bath lights did not work, with one hanging from the wire. I was kindly given another room which was complete.
The beds felt like cardboard with foam padding.
Unfortunately, for the time being I will not stay there and would not recommend to others. Read less
