It was warm and friendly and Ms Penketh [Prop'tr] offered us alternative accommodation within the guest house better suited to our needs - right at the point of our arrival which was very helpful

The small single room had everything including internet access an i pod docking station and spacious shower room. Breakfast was nicely cooked and the location was very convenent for The International Exhibition Centre. I plan to return with my wife and will definitely use this B and B. Read less

The Yorkshire town of Harrogate attracts visitors for many different reasons. Some will come for the great historic sights and culture so inherent in such a wonderful old spa town while others will be attracted by the more contemporary aspects of a place which is home to the Harrogate International Conference Centre. The town also makes a great base for touring the historic and rural sights of the wider North Yorkshire area. Perfectly placed for all of these and with all comforts and amenities for an enjoyable stay is Alamah Guest House, an establishment which offers four star bed and breakfast accommodation.
Situated just 2 minutes from the Conference Centre, Alamah Guest House is certainly convenient for this and other attractions in town and during any stay guests can enjoy a friendly atmosphere, free WiFi internet connectivity and a good hearty breakfast each morning. Built in the 1880s, the guest house retains many of its original period features with rooms sympathetically decorated in keeping with the style of the property, yet equipped with all the modern features expected from 4* accommodation.
All rooms are en suite and with single, double, twin, and family rooms available there is plenty of scope for couples, families, or lone corporate travellers or holidaymakers to enjoy convenient and well equipped Harrogate accommodation. Tariff starts from £45 per night for a single room rising to £70 for a twin, £68 for a double, and from £78 to £95 per night for a family room depending on two to three people sharing. Single occupancy of a double or twin room is £58 per night and £60 per night for a family room. Included in all stays is breakfast, chosen from full English selections or vegetarian alternatives.
